2023 began with club members and guests enjoying a chukar shoot on January 1 in the lovely mid-winter sunshine.
2022
The first upland bird shoot of the season was a success! Beautiful day and happy dogs! Club members had an excellent day!
Our 2022 season began with a late winter upland shoot, taking advantage of a break in the wild winter weather this past month here in the PNW. The birds and the grounds were excellent as always. A good time was had by all and there were some very happy, tired dogs at the end of the day!
2021
The fall and early winter has seen some very successful upland shoots, taking advantage of the occasional sunny day. The birds are outstanding this year and the grounds in excellent condition.

2020
During the COVID-19 pandemic the HVCC has adhered to all provincial and federal guidelines to ensure the safety of our members. Although our Old country shoots were cancelled, members still enjoyed successful goose, duck and pheasant shoots maintaining social distancing and following provincial guidelines.
2019

Ducks came late this year but club members have had some successful shoots on club grounds.
Pheasant and chukar hunts are outstanding at HVCC’s upland bird release site. Two large areas are available for hunts – both with cover and ditches providing prime pheasant and chukar habitat.
A good early winter shoot. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous weather and some very happy dogs!
The year finished with the annual Christmas High Release Shoot. 22 hunters participated and 235 pheasants were released. Club members provided pick up dogs. A pig roast provided by land owners completed an outstanding day!
